Terms and conditions

1. Seller and scope

These terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer when buying goods in the Routie online shop. The seller is:

  • Denva s. r. o., Ekoosada 3194/235, 925 22 Veľké Úľany, Slovakia

  • Company ID (IČO): 55376681, Tax ID (DIČ): 2121975273, VAT ID (IČ DPH): SK2121975273, VAT payer

  • registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trnava, section Sro, insert No. 53995/T

  • email: info@routie.sk

  • phone: +421 902 074 830

The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the Trnava Region, Pekárska 23, 917 01 Trnava, Slovakia.

A buyer who, when entering into the contract, does not act in the course of their business or profession is a consumer. The provisions on withdrawal from the contract, on dispute resolution and the other consumer protection provisions apply only to consumers. Matters not covered by these terms are governed mainly by the Slovak Civil Code and Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection; relations with a buyer who is not a consumer are governed by the Slovak Commercial Code.

2. Goods

  • Print of your own route: a print the buyer designs in the configurator from their own route, with their own texts, look, size and frame. It is made to the buyer’s specifications.

  • Ready-made print: a print with a route and look prepared by the seller; the buyer chooses the size and the frame. It is made to order; if the buyer changes the texts or adds a logo, it is made to the buyer’s specifications (Article 8).

  • Gift voucher: a voucher for purchases in this shop, which the seller sends by email.

  • Gift wrapping and other goods offered in the shop.

Product images are for illustration. Depending on the screen settings, colours may differ slightly from the printed print. The properties of the goods, in particular materials and dimensions, are shown with each product.

3. Print design

For a print of your own route and for a ready-made print, the buyer sees a preview of the design. By adding it to the basket, the buyer confirms that the design is correct; the print is made exactly to it, so please check the route, texts and size before adding it to the basket. If the map data changes before production, the seller sends a new preview for confirmation.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the route, texts and other content they put into the design do not infringe the rights of others or the law. The seller may refuse to make a print with content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of third parties; in that case it refunds the price paid.

4. Order and conclusion of the contract

The buyer adds goods to the basket, enters their contact, billing and delivery details at checkout, chooses the delivery and payment method, confirms their agreement to these terms and places the order with the “Place order with obligation to pay” button. Before placing the order, the buyer sees a summary of the order and the total price and can correct the details.

A placed order is an offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract is concluded when the seller confirms receipt of the order to the buyer by email. The confirmation contains the order details. The seller archives the contract and the version of the terms the buyer agreed to. The contract is concluded in Slovak; an order placed on the English version of the shop concludes it in English. Each language version of these terms binds the contracts concluded in that language.

The seller may refuse or cancel an order before production starts, in particular if the goods cannot be made or delivered, if the price was obviously stated in error, or if the order is not paid within the period under Article 6. In that case it refunds any amount paid without undue delay.

5. Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT. The delivery price is shown at checkout before the order is placed. The price at the time the order is placed applies.

With every announcement of a price reduction, the seller also states the prior price, that is, the lowest price at which it sold the goods in the 30 days before the reduction (Section 7 of Act No. 108/2024 Coll.). A discount code is applied in the basket under the conditions stated when it was issued.

6. Payment

  • By card through the Stripe payment gateway, including Apple Pay or Google Pay where the device supports them. The payment is made when the order is placed; if it is not completed within 24 hours, the order is cancelled.

Production starts only once the payment has been received. The seller sends the invoice electronically by email. Cash on delivery is not available.

7. Delivery

Packeta delivers the goods, itself or through its partner carriers, to a pickup point or box, or by courier to the buyer’s address. We deliver to every EU member state except Malta; to Austria, Luxembourg and Ireland by courier to an address only, and to Cyprus to a box only.

The estimated delivery time, including production, is shown with every product, in the basket and at checkout, and is counted from the order. Unless the parties agree otherwise, the seller delivers the goods within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract at the latest. The seller sends a gift voucher by email once it is paid.

The risk of damage to the goods passes to the buyer when they receive them. We recommend checking the packaging on receipt; the complaints procedure describes what to do if a parcel is damaged. If the buyer does not collect a parcel within the collection period, the carrier returns it to the seller; the seller contacts the buyer to arrange redelivery and may ask the buyer to pay its cost.

8. Withdrawal from the contract

A consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods or, for several items delivered separately, of receiving the last of them. For a gift voucher, the period runs from the conclusion of the contract, and withdrawal is possible only from a voucher that has not been used yet.

A consumer cannot withdraw from a contract for goods made to the consumer’s specifications (Section 19(1)(c) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll.). The following are made to the buyer’s specifications:

  • a print of your own route, that is, a route the buyer uploads to the configurator;

  • a ready-made print in which the buyer changed or removed any text shown on the print before ordering (for example the title, subtitle, date, details or description) or added their own logo.

Such a print is made only for the buyer and cannot be sold to anyone else. The seller marks it expressly in the basket and at checkout before the order is placed.

Withdrawal is possible from a ready-made print in which the buyer changed no text and added no logo, even if they chose a different size, frame or another of the offered design options in the configurator. Withdrawal is also possible from gift wrapping and gift vouchers.

If a consumer is not satisfied with a print made to their specifications although it has no defect, the seller may offer a voucher for another purchase as a voluntary gesture. There is no legal entitlement to the voucher. A voucher never replaces the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund the consumer is entitled to for a defect, and offering or accepting it does not limit the consumer’s rights for defects. The consumer can always report a defect under Article 9 and the complaints procedure.

You can withdraw with the “Withdraw from the contract” function at your order (we also send you a link to the order through the Withdrawal page), by email to info@routie.sk, by letter to the registered office or with the model form below. The period is met if the consumer sends the notice on its last day at the latest. The seller confirms receipt of the withdrawal by email without undue delay.

The consumer sends the goods to the seller’s registered office within 14 days of withdrawing, unused and, where possible, in the original packaging. The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. The consumer is liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

The seller refunds all payments received, including the delivery cost (up to the cheapest delivery method offered), within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal at the latest, by the same payment method the consumer used. It may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or the consumer has shown that they have sent them.

9. Liability for defects

The seller is liable for defects the goods have on delivery that become apparent within two years of delivery (Section 619 of the Slovak Civil Code). How to report a defect, the time within which the seller remedies it and the buyer’s rights are set out in the Complaints procedure, which forms part of these terms.

10. Gift voucher

  • The voucher is a single-purpose voucher for goods in this shop. VAT is included in its price when it is sold.

  • The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. It is applied at checkout by entering its code; any remaining balance can be used for another purchase while it is valid.

  • The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash. Any balance left when it expires lapses.

11. Product safety and manufacturer

The manufacturer of the prints is the seller, Denva s. r. o., Ekoosada 3194/235, 925 22 Veľké Úľany, Slovakia; it can be contacted at info@routie.sk, including on product safety. The print is a decorative item for indoor use: a wooden frame, glass, a printed map on paper, a 3D route in PLA and an MDF backing board with a hook and a stand. Safety information is also shown with each product:

  • The glass can break if dropped or knocked; handle the print with care and do not use a broken print.

  • Hang the print on a solid wall on a fixing suitable for its weight, or stand it on a stable surface.

  • This is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of small children.

  • Do not expose the print to heat above 50 °C, direct sunlight or moisture; the PLA route could deform.

12. Personal data

How the seller processes personal data is explained on the Privacy page, and its use of cookies on the Cookies page.

13. Dispute resolution

If a consumer is not satisfied with how the seller handled their complaint, or believes that the seller has breached their rights, they can ask the seller for redress at info@routie.sk (Section 11 of Slovak Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on alternative dispute resolution). If the seller rejects the request or does not reply within 30 days of it being sent, the consumer can submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution, at the latest one year after the rejection or after that period has passed.

  • The alternative dispute resolution entity is the Slovak Trade Inspection, Bajkalská 21/A, P. O. BOX 29, 827 99 Bratislava 27, Slovakia, ars@soi.sk, soi.sk. Dispute resolution before the Slovak Trade Inspection is free of charge.

  • The consumer can also turn to another authorised entity on the list of the Slovak Ministry of Economy at mhsr.sk.

This does not affect the right to go to court. The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 with effect from 20 July 2025.

14. Final provisions

The contract is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. A consumer whose habitual residence is in another country does not lose the protection of the mandatory provisions of that country’s law. If any provision is invalid, the others remain in force.

The seller may change these terms. The version the buyer agreed to when placing the order applies to the contract; its version is shown next to the consent at checkout. These terms are effective from 31/10/2026.
